Ivan Lujanovic, From Boeing to The Doe Run Company



Ivan Lujanovic began his career at Boeing as a help desk analyst. This position set the groundwork for his next career endeavor at The Doe Run Company. The Doe Run Company hired him as a help desk analyst/network - voice administrator. Once he was able to master his skills in that position, he was promoted to network engineer. He has appreciated his time at The Doe Run Company and works to continue to provide the technical needs that they require with excellence and efficiency.

Before being able to efficiently and effectively assist people with their technical needs, Ivan Lujanovic needed to have a certain base of knowledge to work with. In Ivan Lujanovic’s case, this included technical training and certifications. He began his education at Ranken Technical College. Ranken Technical College is an educational institution that offers associate and bachelor’s degrees as well as professional certifications and training courses. Their dream for their students is to give them an exceptional education that truly prepares them for the work force. They also have an incredibly high percentage of job placement for their students at around 97%. This education created opportunities for Ivan Lujanovic.

Shortly after finishing at Ranken, he went on to earn his Cisco certification through Cisco Certified Network Associate. This certification is a routing and switching certification that increases a student’s investment in foundational networking education and increases the value of their employees network at the same time.
